Constructed of gilded and silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flattened and rounded catch emanating from a
